A member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Muhammad Muluku Aga, representing Eggon East narrowly escaped death, as hoodlums attacked and burnt his car on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in the early hours of yesterday in Akurba, Lafia Local Government Area of the state.

Sun reports that the hoodlums trailed Aga’s driver between Lafia town and Akurba, thinking that the lawmaker was inside the vehicle.

Report says the driver abandoned the car on the main road and fled and when the attackers could not catch up with him, they returned, ransacked the car and picked some valuable items, before setting the car ablaze.
